Loving God,

Thank You for Your freely offered grace, through Your Son, Jesus. In accepting Your love, may we be more willing to demonstrate it to others as we go about our daily lives, repaying evil with good, meanness with generosity, violence with love. But we know we cannot do this in our own strength, so we ask for a sufficiency of Your Holy Spirit to come upon us, not for our own sakes, but so that we may be better ambassadors for You in this fallen world. Use us, we pray, to grow Your kingdom, in Jesus’ name.
