Lord Jesus,

The completion of Your mission on Earth was the greatest miscarriage of justice ever to have occurred. Yet You submitted Yourself to it. Not only allowing public torture and execution to be inflicted upon You, but showing Your unfathomable love by forgiving the perpetrators while in agony on the cross. We confess that our sins played their part in that gruesome spectacle and we are sorry.

Thank You, Lord, for all You have done, do and will do for us. Help us, we pray, to be more faithful to You and Your teachings as we move through this Easter time and into the future.

Use us, we pray, to further Your mission, helping to grow Your kingdom wherever we find ourselves.
