Loving God,

Thank You for those who attended our General Assembly; for the hours they put into discussing a wide variety of issues and for the grace with which they did so. May those decisions now be translated into actions that make us more effective in doing Your work. May the apology made, and accepted, for our past complicity in the evils of slavery be a foundation upon which reconciliation can grow, may it be an example to show how good can grow out of historic wrongs and may it establish and expand good relationships between the various expressions of Your Church throughout the world.
